My Story

I've been fortunate to have been involved in delivering IT services to small organisations for 25 years. During this time, I've had the pleasure of working on projects that have supported thousands of users, often within very small teams.

I realize that my name is not widely known, as I tend to shy away from self-promotion. For me, the focus has always been on doing good work and helping to make things a little bit better each day. I believe that by staying true to these principles, we can create positive change in the lives of those we serve.

I’ve been through a lot of the same things you are going through. I’m here to tell you. You can do it. Just keep showing up.

It's important for me to emphasize the driving force behind my work: the users. The millions of people who have benefited from the technological solutions I've implemented have always been at the heart of my endeavours.

Working in a region known for its natural beauty and vibrant community has been a great privilege. I've had the opportunity to develop and implement technology solutions that supported millions of visitors and locals in their everyday lives. From digital services online and in person in sites like libraries and public WiFi hotspots to the efficient management of car parks, my focus has been on creating seamless experiences for the people who make up the lifeblood of this beautiful area.

The volume of digital and physical foot traffic in public spaces presented unique challenges and opportunities for innovation. It was in this environment that I honed my skills, learning to develop creative solutions that catered to the diverse needs of our users. The ultimate goal was to create a more enjoyable, efficient, and accessible experience for everyone.

In my book, I will share what I’ve learned as I tackled these challenges and implemented technology solutions that transformed the user experience.
